Since the acquisition, a significant amount of money has been invested in remodeling
the restaurants. Predominantly located on the south and west sides of Chicago, each
location is also now a hot spot for wireless connectivity so that patrons can enjoy
free Internet access inside the stores.

Additionally, the grand opening festivities will include an appearance by Whosay,
one of the only African-American magicians in the Midwest as well as special
performances by local high school bands and cheerleaders. A recruiting station for
people to complete employment applications and meet one-on-one with hiring personnel
will also be available at each restaurant.

"We're excited about showcasing the new look and feel of each location but it's more
than just a party", says Charles H. James III, Chairman and CEO of C.H. James
Restaurant Holdings, the largest African American BURGER KING franchisee. "Each of
these stores actively participates in our community development program and has
daily contact with surrounding schools, churches, hospitals, local businesses and
more. We're not just reinvesting in the equipment and buildings, we're reinvesting
in our communities as well."

In 2004, James joined the BURGER KING system when he acquired 37 restaurants in the
Chicago area. In May 2006, these three urban stores were acquired, bringing the
franchise owner's total to 40 restaurants and an additional three are managed on
behalf of Burger King.
